CR-39 Also known as Hard Resin lenses, which are lighter that glass and are available in wither dress thickness or Industrial Thcikness. They are impact resistant and are available in many different types of Single Vision Lenses as well as Bifocals, Trifocals, and Progressive Addition lenses. This selection also includes Transition lenses (plastic photochromatic lenses which change color indoors and outdoors), and Polorized lenses.

Polycarbonate lenses offer a high degree of impact resistancy, and are lighter than CR-39, and are virtually unbreakable. These lenses are also available in Single Vison, Bifocal, and Progressive Addition Lenses. They are offered in Clear, Transition (Photochromatic Lenses) and Polarized Sun lenses.

Polarized Sun lenses are the most effective tool available in Sun wear to date to protect our eyes from the blinding glare of the sun. These lenses help enhance the most important function of Prescription eyewear: improvement of visual Acuity. Polarized lenses’ special attribute is it’s ability to block blinding horizontal glare. NO OTHER lenses or Lens Treatments can achieve this result. Polarized lenses are available in Hard Resin (CR-39) and Polycarbonate lens materials. Polycarbonate Polarized lenses combine two advanced technologies. All the benefits of Polarization with the properties of the Polycarbonate material making the lens thinner, lighter and stronger. These are an excellent choice in lenses for sports activities. Polarized lenses are also available in a variety of colors as well.

Transition lenses are available in Hard Resin (CR-39) and Polycarbonate materials. They are an excellent choice for a Primary pair of Prescription eyeglasses. Transition Lenses are virtually clear indoors and automatically darken outdoors providing 100% UV protection. This lens is an excellent choice over regular clear lenses, however, they are not a substitute for Sunglasses. They will only darken when exposed to Ultra-Violet light and under certain conditions, such as behind the windshield of a car, they do not block blinding glare.

AR(Anti-Reflective) Coating is a great feature for Ophthalmic Lenses. These coatings remove annoying reflections and Ghost Images. AR coatings increase light transmittance and in Polarized lenses, when the back surface of the lenses are coated, reduces back surface reflections. AR coated lenses are also Cosmetically more acceptable that non AR coated lenses.
